Serving the Steubenville and greater Ohio Valley area, we welcome you to come and share in the Divine Life with us through participation in the life of the Church: the Holy Mysteries, the Divine Liturgy, prayer, fasting, and the common life of loving service to one another. This is the participation in the Divine Life that Our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ came to give us - participation in the Divine Nature.
All are welcome to join us! Please come to visit us. It is here that you will find orthodoxy of faith, beauty of worship, and a commitment to struggle for holiness among people just like you.
The Melkite Greek Catholic Church is the historic Church of Antioch (”and it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians” - Acts 11:26), and is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.

St. Joseph - Our Patron
![]()
Currently, our community meets weekly on Sundays at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church (814 N 5th St, Toronto, OH 43964). For Divine Services on Wednesday and Saturday, we meet at the Sycamore Center (301 N 4th St, Steubenville, OH 43952). ****
The Divine Liturgy, the celebration of the Eucharist, is celebrated on Sundays and major feast days. Vespers (evening prayers) and Morning Prayer are a manner of praying with the psalms which dates back to the earliest days of the Church. We pray them together in anticipation of the Divine Liturgy.
The Holy Mystery of Reconciliation will be offered before and after each Divine Service.
Our schedule for Divine Services is as follows:
Wednesday (@ The Sycamore Center - 301 N 4th St, Steubenville, OH 43952)
Saturday (@ The Sycamore Center - 301 N 4th St, Steubenville, OH 43952)
